Yes but other DBS cards exchange at 15 pts per mile.
Normal spending $1=1pt,dining spending on 3X $1=3pts,so $5/mile (compared to DBS Black AE $6/mile)
Also other DBS cards charge $100 fee per 10,000 miles converted,DBS Black no fee to change.

Apply for Shanghai Commercial Bank Platinum...same $8/mile on normal spending,AAVS and bill payment.

With Shacom you even get to choose one category out of [dining/dept store/supermarket]and earn 2X miles on that (so it's really the only card still offering $4/mile on dining).

But BEA has better spending offers.

No kidding.Visa charges approx 2%merchant fee wheres AE needs 3-4%.

In fact,in Aus,Visa cards don't offer rewards (almost),only AE does (but AE is either not accepted or subject to surcharge in many Aus shops).

The rule is use AE where you can and have a Visa card ready when you can't get AE accepted.
